Venue, journey and accommodation

Getting to Rouen

As part of our eco-friendly approach, we encourage you to travel to Rouen by train whenever possible.

Rouen is connected to Paris by train in just over an hour from Paris Saint-Lazare station.

There are a few direct train connections to south-eastern France. Flixbus serves Rouen.

If you are arriving by plane in Paris, it is best to land at Orly or Charles-de-Gaulle. The Métro line no 14 runs directly from Orly Airport to Paris Saint-Lazare station.

The Mont-Saint-Aignan Campus

The conference will take place at the University of Rouen Normandy on the Mont-Saint-Aignan Campus.

The conference venues are the Maison de l'Université (Place Emile Blondel, Mont-Saint-Aignan) and the STAPS building (No. 11) a few metres further on.

The campus is easily accessible by public transport, stopping at ‘Campus’ (TEOR 1 bus, direct from the city centre; TEOR 5 from the left bank) or ‘Place Colbert’ (F2 and F7 buses, direct from the Rouen Rive Droite railway station).

Tickets can be purchased directly by phone via text message. See the ASTUCE network website: https://www.myastuce.fr/fr

There are plenty of free parking spaces available on campus.

Accommodation

We recommend staying in the historic centre of Rouen, between the Rive Droite railway station and the Seine. Buses run very frequently from the centre (TEOR line 1) and the railway station (buses F2 and F7) to the Mont-Saint-Aignan campus.

The Rouen Youth Hostel is located near the city centre and very well connected to the Mont Saint-Aignan Campus.
